Jean Wood Ray, age 87, of Vernon, AL passed away Sunday, November 14, 2021 at her residence. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 2:00pm at Cedar Tree Cemetery in Hackleburg, AL. Bro. Ben Vernon to officiate.

Jean was born on September 26, 1934 in Marion County to the late Harrison Lloyd Wood and the late Martha Jane Anglin. She was a graduate of Hackleburg High School where she was also a cheerleader. Jean previously worked at First National Bank in Hamilton, AL. She was retired, enjoyed reading, and decorating her house. She loved her church and family.
