Jerry Lawrence Thomas, age 74, of Vernon, AL, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at his residence.  The family has requested a private viewing on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at Otts Funeral Home with no public services to be held.

Jerry was born on March 1, 1948 in Dalton, Georgia to the late Gus Thomas and the late Jewel Witherow Thomas.  He was a graduate of Murray County High School in Chatsworth, GA.  Jerry worked at Better Backers Carpet Mill in Chatsworth, GA.  He enjoyed fishing and riding through grassy mountains in Georgia.
