Jerry Ray Woodruff, age 67, passed away on March 9, 2025 at North MS Medical Center Hospice Unit in Tupelo, MS. Service will be held at Otts Funeral Home in Sulligent, Alabama on Wednesday, March 12, 2025. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 with funeral services immediately following. His brother in laws, Scott Doles and Steve McGuire will perform service.

Jerry was born in the territory of Fairbanks, Alaska on September 12, 1957 to the late James Thomas Woodruff Jr and Stella Mae Collins Woodruff.

He is survived by his sisters, Barbara Doles and husband Scott of Tupelo, MS; Nancy McGuire and husband Steve McGuire of Scottsville, KY; Diana Storment and husband Ed Storment of Iuka, MS and one brother, Ronnie Woodruff of Texas. His nieces, Carrie Ann Barnett (Ray) and Amanda Bonds (Dillon). His nephews, Jonathan Doles(Courtney); Brian Anglin(Leanne); Michael McGuire(Toni); Matthew McGuire(Jeron). Great nieces and nephews: Will, Kayla Beth and Blake Barnett; Karlee and Addison McGuire; Allen, Chloe, Porter, and Henry McGuire; Chance and Maddie Bonds.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved nephew, James Ewell McGuire.

Jerry loved his family dearly and was so proud to be a big brother and uncle. He will be greatly missed as he loved so unconditionally. He enjoyed fishing and was grateful that he served in the Army. He was a member Northeast Church of Christ.
