Sister Jewel Taylor, age 87, of Beaverton, AL passed away Monday, June 22, 2020 at her residence.  Private family funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Gilmer Addition of Sulligent City Cemetery.  Bro. Danny Hollis and Bro. Ricky Kendrick to officiate.

Jewel was born on October 21, 1932 in Arkansas to the late Madison and Lelia Totten.  She attended school in Greenwood Springs, MS.  Jewel previously worked at McCoy Manufacturing and HealthTex.  She pastored Military Grove Church for several years and evangelized.  She enjoyed sewing.  Jewel was a member of Life Church in Beaverton, AL.
