Jim Allen "Shane" Hollis, age 63, of Sulligent, AL, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2025 at Northwest Medical Center in Winfield, AL.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 27, 2025 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Reedus Cemetery.  Pastor Willie Sanders to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 1:00pm until 2:00pm.

Shane was born on June 30, 1961 in Sulligent, AL to the late Robert Lee Hollis and the late Jimmie Nell Gardner.  He was a 1981 graduate of Sulligent High School.  Shane formerly worked at Hamilton Bathware and Walmart.  He enjoyed cooking for people and liked to draw.  He was also known to be an avid Alabama football fan.  Shane also loved being outdoors gardening and landscaping.  He was a member of Rising Star Baptist Church.  His loving memory will always be cherished and greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
