Jimmy Leon Channell, age 64, of Sulligent, AL passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, MS.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 3:30pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Gilmer Addition of Sulligent City Cemetery.  Bro. James Miles to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, December 11, 2020 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.

Jimmy was born on November 11, 1956 in Sulligent, AL to the late Floyd Channell and the late Evie "Bonnie" May.  He attended Sulligent Schools.  Jimmy previously worked at McCoy Manufacturing.  He enjoyed playing guitar, drawing, and fishing.
