Jimmy Paul George, age 82, of Sulligent, AL, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at NMMC in Tupelo, MS. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Wofford Cemetery. Bro. Jeff Chaffin and Bro. Arnold Sheets to officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 12:00pm until 2:00pm.

Jimmy was born on August 23, 1943 in Belmont, MS to the late Artis George and the late Ruby Johnson George. He attended school in Belmont, Mississippi. Jimmy was the owner and operator of George's Upholstery for 64 years. He was known to be a very humble and kind man who was very involved in his community, always offering support and sponsorship of various school and sports activities. He also enjoyed being outdoors, especially fishing and quail hunting. Jimmy loved his family dearly and was very active in the lives of his precious grandchildren and great grands. His bright spirit and loving heart will forever be missed and always cherished for his unconditional love and dedication to his family and for the lives he impacted in his community. Jimmy was a member of Sulligent First Freewill Baptist Church.
