Joe Louis Fleming, Jr., age 64, of Columbus, MS, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2024 Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, MS.  Memorial services will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends prior to the memorial service from 1:00pm until 2:00pm.

Joe was born on November 16, 1959 in Sulligent, AL to the late Joe Louis Fleming, Sr. and the late Shirley May Jones.  He was a 1978 graduate of Thorn Apple Kellogg High School in Middleville, MI.  He attended Wallace State, also playing basketball.  Joe was employed at Marathon for 32 years, and previously at SDR in Millport, AL and Huber Engineered Woods.  He enjoyed the outdoors, and liked going fishing and golfing.  He loved his family dearly and cherished spending time with them, especially watching his grandchildren play sports.  His loving memory will always be remembered and greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
