Joe William Jackson, age 76, of Tuscaloosa, AL, formerly of Sulligent, AL  passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at his residence.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with Military Graveside services and burial to follow in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.  Bro. Paul Shaw to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, December 17, 2022 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.

Joe was born on September 8, 1946 in Sulligent, Alabama to the late Johnnie William "Doc" Jackson and the late Martha Jo Danner Jackson.  He was a 1965 graduate of Sulligent High School.  Joe retired from GenCorp in Columbus, MS and also retired from the AL Army National Guard.  He was an avid Alabama Football fan and enjoyed going to the beach and spending time with his family.
