Joey Lee Knight, age 63, of Sulligent, AL passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at North Alabama Medical Center in Florence, AL. A memorial service followed by a burial and potluck dinner will be held by the family for Daddy, Joey Lee Knight, on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at 2:00pm at Wesley Chapel Church in Detroit, AL.  Services will be open to all of his family and friends.  Flowers and well wishes may be sent to the following address or brought to Wesley Chapel before the 2:00pm service: 415 Country Estates Drive, Hamilton, AL 35570.

Joey was born on September 10. 1958 in Vernon, AL to the late Bobby Joe Knight and the late Ozell Channell Knight. He attended Sulligent and Hatley, MS High Schools. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and Alabama National Guard and worked as a roughneck oil rigger and enjoyed to hunt, fish, and pick. He is beloved by so many family and friends.
