John Robert "Bob" Hankins, age 71, of Sulligent, AL, passed away on Friday, October 17, 2025 at DCH in Tuscaloosa, AL.  The family has chosen cremation and will hold private memorial services at a later date.

Bob was born on May 10, 1954 in Guin, AL to the late John Tol Hankins and the late Margie Ann Green.  He attended schools in Moline, IL and Sulligent, AL.  Bob was a retired truck driver.  He loved working on cars and motorcycles and enjoyed being outdoors doing landscaping and gardening, and especially loved to go hunting.  He was known to be a builder of all types of things and was an avid Harley-Davidson rider and Alabama football fan.  He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.  Bob truly loved his family and his kind heart and gentle spirit will always be cherished and greatly missed.
