Rex Dalton, age 91,of Detroit, AL, passed away at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS on Friday, January 27, 2023.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 30, 2023 at 2:00pm at Kingsville Church of Christ in Detroit, AL with burial to follow in Kingsville Cemetery. Bro. Jimmy Brumley to officiate. . Visitation will be held at the Otts Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, January 29, 2023 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.

Rex was born on June 21, 1931 in Detroit, AL to the late Burl Dalton and the late Fleeta Ballard. He attended school at Sulligent High School. He worked as a machinist at Hyster in Sulligent and previously as a Barber in Birmingham, AL.  He enjoyed fishing, watching football, playing cards, and especially piddling with his backhoe. He attended Kingsville Church of Christ.
