Joseph "Aaron" Hudson, age 43, of Vernon, AL, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2026 at NMMC in Tupelo, MS. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 26, 2026 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with Military Honors graveside services and burial to follow in Wofford Cemetery.  Joey Moody and Dillon Jones to officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, April 25, 2026 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.

Aaron was born on March 28, 1983 in Nashville, TN to James Allen Hudson and the late Charlotte Kaye Burgess.  He was a 2001 graduate of Lamar County High School, where he was known for his outstanding football and wrestling achievement.  Upon graduating from high school, Aaron joined the U.S. Marine Corps where he honorably served for over 6 years.  Aaron had a love for the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting and also liked riding horses, roping, calf sorting and cutting.  He had a passion for life and loved spending time with his family and friends.  His bright spirit and loving memory will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
