Joyce Marie Channell, age 70, of Vernon, AL, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at North AL Medical Center in Florence, AL.  The family has chosen cremation and no services will be held.

Joyce was born on January 17, 1955 in Lamar County, AL to the late Claudie Burton Channell and the late Deaner Stockman.  She attended school in the Hightogy Community.  Joyce previously worked at various poultry farms in Addison, AL.  She loved her family dearly and enjoyed all the special moments they shared.  Her bright spirit and loving heart will always be cherished and fondly remembered by all who loved and knew her.
