Julia "Granny" Leslie (Broussard), died peacefully in Winfield, AL at age 95 on April 10, 2021.  No services are being held at this time. Granny will be buried next to her husband of 34 years, who she called J.R., in Beaumont, TX at a later date.

Julia was born September 3, 1925 in Beaumont, TX to the late Ray Broussard and the late Helen Frugia (Walsh). She attended Beaumont High School. She served as a housewife for 34 years. She gained the name "Granny" by everyone and introduced herself that way. She loved being called granny. She adored her family and spending time with all of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She loved every year when the hummingbirds would come to visit her many bird feeders that she insisted stay full!
