Kayson James Gunter, Infant son of Shawnees Marcum and Marquse Gunter, of Sulligent, AL, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2025 at Northwest Medical Center in Winfield, AL.  The family has chosen cremation and a private family service will be held at a later date.

Kayson James Gunter, born June 4, 2024, in Jasper Alabama. He is survived by his parents, Marquse Gunter and Shawnees Marcum, of Sulligent, AL, one sister, Novaleigh Webb, of Sulligent, AL, and a host of aunts and uncles. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, James Marcum and Brenda Blaylock Marcum. Kayson will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
