OBITUARY

Kelly Dean Trimm, age 84, of Columbus, MS, passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at his residence.  Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 11:00am at Taylor Springs Cemetery.  Bro. Jeff Chaffin to officiate.

Kelly was born on August 19, 1939 in Lamar County, Alabama to the late Kelsie Trimm and the late Lura Ellen Brown Trimm.  He attended Caledonia High School and shortly after graduation he joined the U.S. Navy, honorably serving over four years.  Kelly worked most of his life in the lumber industry at different area sawmills, most notably working as a Maintenance Foreman for Schmidbauer Lumber Company in Eureka, California.   He loved being outdoors, especially going hunting and fishing.  He also enjoyed researching family genealogy.  Kelly was a member of Taylor Springs Freewill Baptist Church.

Daughter: Laurie Danon, Eureka, CA

Stepdaughters: Susie, Carol, and Deborah

Stephannie Henderson (Robert), Dewayne Newcombe,

Lisa Trimm, Gina Trimm, Cheyanne Bittick
