Kenneth McDaniel, age 84, of Sulligent, AL passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2020 at Diversicare Nursing Home in Winfield, AL.  A private family funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at 10:00am from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Furnace Hill Cemetery.  Mr. Rod Tate to officiate.

Kenneth was born on February 28, 1936 in Lamar County, Alabama to the late Walter A. McDaniel and the late Tola Pennington.  He was a graduate of Sulligent High School.  Kenneth was employed by the State of Alabama in transportation.  He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. Kenneth was a member of Sulligent Church of Christ.  He enjoyed fishing, camping, and singing.

Grandsons: Adam, Eric, Drake and Jacob McDaniel

Granddaughter: Madison "Maddie" McDaniel
