Lance Prentice Shelly, age 48, of Jasper, AL, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at Lakewood MHC in Jasper, AL.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with graveside services and burial to follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery in Caledonia, MS.  Pastor Roy Bush to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 1:00pm until 2:00pm.

Lance was born on December 11, 1976 in Vero Beach, FL to Jerry Johnson and Debra Shelly.  He graduated from Lamar County High School.  Lance loved the outdoors and his family.  He was known as a very loving people-person, always wearing a bright smile on his face.  Lance had a heart of gold.  His beautiful and caring spirit will always be cherished and greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.  Lance attended Prospect Independent and Shekinah Glory Church in Jasper, AL.
