Larry D. Jeffreys, age 70, of Detroit, AL passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 7, 2020 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Shottsville Cemetery in Hamilton, AL.  Bro. B.J. Mills to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 1:00pm until 2:00pm.

Larry was born on January 18, 1950 in Sulligent, AL to the late Oscar Lee Jeffreys and the late Avis Lee Thompson.  He was a 1970 graduate of Sulligent High School.  Larry previously worked at Scott Brothers Feed Mill, True Temper, and as Security at a rest stop on I-22 in Tremont, MS.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and working outside.
