Lemetrius Williams, age 31, of Vernon, AL, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at 12:00pm at the Lamar County High School Gymnasium with burial to follow in the Furnace Hill Cemetery.  Pastor Pamela Williams to officiate.  Visitation will be held in the gymnasium prior to the funeral service from 11:00am until 12:00pm.

Lemetrius was born on February 11, 1993 in Columbus, MS to Lester Williams and Jeanette Westbrook.  He graduated from Lamar County High School.  Lemetrius previously worked as a welder for Glenn's Machine.  He loved football and enjoyed fishing and especially spending time with his children.  He was very involved in sports in high school, playing baseball and football.  Lemetrius was awarded "The Hugh Harrison" award in football and MVP Award.  He was a member of United Baptist Church in Vernon, AL.  His loving memory will always be cherished and greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
