Rev. Lloyd Minor, age 90, of Guin, AL passed away Tuesday June 30, 2020 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. Funeral services will be held on Saturday July 11, 2020 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Beaverton Cemetery. Bro. Mark Dean and Bro. Greg Webb to officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 1:00pm until 2:00pm.

Bishop Lloyd Minor was born December 8, 1929 in Sulligent, AL to the late John B. Minor and Ruth V. Taylor Minor. He pastored in the Church of God churches for 33 years, pastoring in Iowa, Illinois, and Alabama. He pastored 11 churches one of which he built, Pine Grove Church of God in Double Spring, AL. He was the District Pastor of Pine Grove Church of God. He retired in 1994 due to a stroke. His life was all about pastoring and serving the Lord.
