Lodema Cannon Hughes, age 93, of Beaverton, AL, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Sunset Manor Nursing Home, Guin, AL.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at 11:00 am, from the Beaverton Baptist Church, Beaverton, AL, burial to follow in the Olive Hill Cemetery. Bro. Jeremy Sorrells and Bro. Rusty Holland to officiate the services. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at Otts Funeral Home, Sulligent, AL, from 6pm until 8 pm.

Lodema was born on November 2, 1929 in Lamar County, AL to the late Vick Seals and the late Nettie Harris Seals.  She previously worked at Munsingwear in Guin, AL.  Ms. Lodema was a member of Beaverton Baptist Church where she lovingly taught Sunday School and was a clerk.  She enjoyed walking and spending time with her family.
