Lyndon was born July 3, 1919 in Lamar County, AL to the late Cicero Wilbur and Ora Artelia Murray Tooke. He grew up in the Lamar County area and attended Sulligent High School. He was a busy man working throughout his life as a farmer, carpenter and at Detroit Slacks. Mr. Lyndon was a member of Detroit United Methodist Church and was the oldest church member there too. For enjoyment, he enjoyed woodworking, gardening and spending time with family, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
