Mark Wayne Burnett, age 66, of Sulligent, AL, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026 in Sulligent, AL.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2026 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.  Bro. Jeff Chaffin to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 1:00pm until 2:00pm.

Mark was born on November 23, 1959 in Vernon, AL to the late Benny Brix Burnett and the late Jimmie Nell Marks.  He was a 1978 graduate of Sulligent High School.  Mark previously worked as a truck driver and worked in sales at Marathon in Vernon, AL.  He enjoyed being outdoors going deer hunting and playing golf especially.  You could always find him at the mud races which he loved or riding around town making his daily rounds.  Mark loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren and friends. His humble heart and gentle spirit will never be forgotten and always cherished by all those who loved and knew him.
