Martha Lou Tucker Blaylock , 86, passed away peacefully on November 12 th , 2022 at her residence while surrounded by her loved ones. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at 1:00 pm, from the People's Tabernacle Church. Burial with a graveside service, to follow at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Sulligent, AL. Bro. Phillip Blaylock, assisted by Bro. Stanley Blaylock and Bro. Steve Blaylock to officiate the services. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 14, 2022, from 6-8pm, from the People's Tabernacle Church.
She was born to the late Elijah and Zora Tucker on August 25 th , 1936 in Caledonia, Mississippi. She married the love of her life Leroy Hubert Blaylock on June 11 th , 1951. Together they were blessed by God with six wonderful children- Stan, Mar, Dar, Deb, Steve, and Phil. Martha was a loving and devoted Christian Lady. She attended church at People's Tabernacle in Sulligent Alabama, where her and her husband Bro. Leroy Blaylock founded and started the church in 1968. Over the years Martha held numerous roles in the church including Pastor's wife, Sunday School teacher, ladies ministry director, and church secretary. She was a prayer warrior and started ladies prayer meeting at church many years ago. She wanted to make sure that everyone was saved and filled with the Holy Ghost. She was a pillar to the Church and the Community.
She loved reading her Bible daily and spending time with her family. She wanted to make sure that all her family made it to Heaven. She enjoyed making floral arrangements and helping wherever she could. She had her own special peanut brittle recipe and she always made sure that it was made to her high standards. She loved to go shopping and was always ready to go whenever anyone asked her to go.
She leaves behind a Godly legacy to her

Daughters; Marlene Weeks, Darlene Fesperman (Ricky), Deborah McMurrey (Jerry)
Grandchildren; Stanton Blaylock (Raven), Andrew Blaylock (Amber), Hillary Hutto (Ryan), Amanda Culbertson (Mark), Emily Gatlin (Joel), Craig Blaylock (Lanita), Jimmy Blaylock (Jordan), Priscilla Black (Kevin), Rachel Scurlock (Shane), Heidi Cottingham (Justin), Philip "Bubba" Blaylock (Ashley), Hannah Robison (Jeremy), Cheryl Pearson (Andrew), Nathan McMurrey (Rebekah), Janie Tisdale (Clay).
Great Grandchildren; Adele, Evie Joy, and Charlie Blaylock, Avonlea and baby Nora Hutto due in Dec, Katelyn and Ethan Culbertson, Emma, Adria, and Cade Gatlin, Maddox, Khloe, Jaylen, and Chapel Blaylock, Adalynn and Jace Black, Carrington Scurlock, Raylan, Taya, and Judah Cottingham, Jennah, Jessa, and Hadley Robison, Elizabeth and Trevor Pearson, Isabella McMurrey, and Jaxon Tisdale.

In addition to her parents she is proceeded in death by her Husband; Rev. Leroy Blaylock, and great grandson; Jaxon Blaylock. Brothers; Willard, Raymond, Amond, James, Jessie, Roy, Robert, and Sisters; Ruby, and Mary Sue.
The family wants to pay special recognition to Don Blaylock and Patricia Haynes-Williams and all the others that provided care to our dear Mother and Granny.
