Martha Joyce Nichols, age 76, of Vernon, AL passed away Friday, February 21, 2020 at DCH in Tuscaloosa, AL.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 24, 2020 at 3:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.  Bro. Delton Harrison and Bro. Armon McDill to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 2:00pm until 3:00pm.

Martha was born on August 31, 1943 in Columbus, MS to the late J.B. McDowell and the late Alma Johnson.  She previously worked at McCoy Manufacturing and Gattman Sportswear.  Martha loved going to church, spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and all her family and friends.  She also enjoyed doing word search puzzles, tending to her flowers and plants, and taking care of her beloved pets.
