Marvin South, age 63, of Sulligent, AL, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at Northwest Medical Center in Winfield, AL.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Fairview Cemetery.  Bro. Edward Puckett to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 1:00pm until 2:00pm.

Marvin was born on December 24, 1956 in Lamar County, AL to the late Gaynor J. South and Mary Evelyn McLemore.  He was a 1975 graduate of Sulligent High School.  Marvin previously worked at McCoy Manufacturing.  He enjoyed drawing.  Marvin attended Mulberry Springs Baptist Church.
