Mavis Jean Egger, age 76, of Sulligent, AL passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 2:00pm at Union Chapel Baptist Church with burial to follow in New Prospect Cemetery.  Bro. B.J. Mills to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the church prior to funeral service from 12:30pm until 2:00pm.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Union Chapel Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 23, Hamilton, AL  35570.

Mavis was born on December 27, 1943 in Lamar County, AL to the late Clifton Eastman and the late Mary Lou Seaborn.  She was a 1961 graduate of Sulligent High School.  Mavis previously worked at First State Bank in Sulligent, AL.  She enjoyed playing the piano, singing, and helping others.  Mavis was a member of Union Chapel Baptist Church.
