Melinda Ann Allen, age 57, of Sulligent, AL, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at NMMC-Gilmore in Amory, MS.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2026 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Palmer Cemetery in Hamilton, AL.  Bro. B.J. Mills to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 12:30pm until 2:00pm.

Melinda was born on September 15, 1968 in Vernon, AL to the late Robert Leon Gann and the late Judy Lynn Kell.  She was a 1987 graduate of Sulligent High School.  Melinda previously worked at McCoy Manufacturing in Sulligent, AL.  She truly loved people, making friends with everyone she met.  Melinda also loved her pets dearly and they brought her so much enjoyment.  She had a passion for life, always smiling and laughing and was a true joy to be around.  Her bright personality and loving heart will forever be cherished and greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
