Michael Duane Winfrey, age 64, of Vernon, AL, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at his residence.  No services will be held at this time.

Michael was born on September 13, 1961 in Arcadia, FL to William Allen Winfrey and the late Gerthleene Cobb Winfrey.  He was a graduate of Desoto County High School in Arcadia, FL.  Michael previously worked as a heavy equipment operator.  He enjoyed the outdoors and loved going fishing any time he could and spending time with his siblings.  His loving memory will forever be cherished and his bright spirit never forgotten.
