Millie Mae Thompson, age 95, of Sulligent, AL passed away Sunday, March 15, 2020 at Northwest Medical Center in Winfield, AL.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at 1:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Gilmer Addition of Sulligent City Cemetery.  Bro. David Smith to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 12:00pm until 1:00pm.

Millie Mae was born on November 15, 1924 in Lamar County, AL to the late Teed Bankhead and the late Lou Bertha Hollis.  She attended Sulligent Elementary and Todd Training School.  Ms. Millie Mae was an Eastern Star and a member of Powell Chapel CME.  She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and canning.
