Mitchell Wayne Lockhart, Jr., age 55, of Gattman, MS, passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at his residence.  The family has chosen cremation and no memorial services will be held at this time.

Mitchell was born on July 7, 1969 in Amory, MS to Mitchell Wayne Lockhart, Sr. and Jacquelin Bailey Lockhart.  He was a 1987 graduate of Hatley High School.  Mitchell previously worked at Monroe Kut in Aberdeen, MS.  He enjoyed working and was very proud of his job.  His family meant the most to him and he loved spending any time he could with his kids and grandson.  His loving memory will always be fondly remembered and greatly missed.
