Molly Chandler, age 83 of McCalla, AL, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2026 at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at 11:00am from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Wofford Cemetery. Bro. Steven Sanderson to officiate.

Ms. Molly Pennington Chandler was born on December 17, 1942, in Vernon, AL to the late Celbert Pennington and the late Jewell Carr Pennington. She was a graduate of the University of Alabama. Molly's career was in nursing and she worked and retired from Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham, AL. After retirement Molly continued to volunteer at UAB west. She was an avid Alabama football fan. In her spare time Molly enjoyed reading and loved to write poetry and poems, and had even written a novel. She was a member of The Station Church, Bessemer, AL. Molly will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
