Nelda Lois Bozeman, age 83, of Sulligent, AL passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at her residence.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 11:00am from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Mt. Hebron Cemetery.  Bro. Arnold Sheets and Bro. Edward Puckett to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 10:00am until 11:00am.

Nelda was born on October 26, 1937 in Tishomingo, MS to James Monroe Phillips and Lilly Mae Knight.  She attended Mary D. Bradford High School in Glen, MS. Nelda worked at OMC Boats in Waukegan, IL. In 1985 she married James J. Bozeman in Waukegan, IL and moved to Sulligent, AL where they still reside.  She enjoyed reading, sewing, and spending time with family.

She is survived by her husband, James J. Bozeman and 8 daughters, Janie Johnson of Mantachie, MS, Judy Starling of Panama City Beach, FL, Brenda Hedrick (Dean) of Fulton, MS, Linda Stegall of Indiana, Sherry Bozeman of Milwaukee, WI, Pam Sheffield of Panama City Beach, FL, Lisa Stegall Pugh (Danny) of Nettleton, MS, and Bethanie McAbee (Josh) of Hamilton, MS.  Two sons, Bobby Stegall (Crystal) of Fulton, MS and Keith Bozeman of Bedford, TX.  Nelda had 21 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Monroe and Lilly Mae Phillips, and a sister.
