Nell Duncan Scott, age 68, of Sulligent, AL, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at NMMC in Tupelo, MS.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 1:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with graveside services and burial to follow in Webb Cemetery.  Bro. Ellis Stacy to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, January 3, 2025 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.

Nell was born on August 31, 1956 in Lamar County, AL to the late David Andrew Duncan, Sr. and the late Nedra Mae Cummings Duncan.  She attended schools at Byrd, Hamilton and Sulligent.  Nell previously owned and operated Shugs Café, also worked at Detroit Slacks and Prices BBQ.  She loved to listen to The Eagles music and even started an Eagles Fan Site.  She also enjoyed watching Hallmark Christmas movies, painting, and making jewelry, but her greatest love was her family, which she adored spending time with and making memories.  Nell was married to her beloved Eddie for 46 years.  She was a member of Shiloh North Church.  Her bright character and loving heart will always be cherished and greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
