Reverend Norman Odelle McCurdy "Toby", age 67, of Vernon, AL passed away Friday, December 11, 2020 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, MS.  Private immediate family funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Kingsville Cemetery.  Rev. David Gifford and Rev. Casey Watkins to officiate.

Norman was born on August 23, 1953 in Uniontown, AL to the late Ellis Norman McCurdy and the late Katherine Delilah Willis.  He was a 1972 graduate of Dallas County High School and later graduated from George C. Wallace Community College in Selma, AL.  Norman retired from Tronox in Hamilton, MS.  He was a pastor at Cody Church of God for 24 years and loved spreading the Gospel, considered it an honor to serve as a pastor.  Norman enjoyed fishing, playing video games, and was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan. He was a member of Cody Church of God in Kennedy, AL.
