Olie Cannon, age 69, of Red Bay, AL, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at North Alabama Medical Center in Florence, AL. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with graveside services and burial to follow in Furnace Hill Cemetery.  Pastor Johnnie Smith to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 12:00pm until 2:00pm.

Olie was born on June 3, 1953 in Lamar County, Alabama to the late Willie Nell Westbrook.  He attended Lamar County Schools.  Olie went to work in Iuka, MS as a logger.  He enjoyed playing cards, watching Westerns and Nascar.  He also like to listen to Rock N Roll music, drink coffee and talk about trees.
