Pete Colley, age 85, of Fayette, AL, formerly of Vernon, AL, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at Limestone Health Facility in Athens, AL.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Lamar Memory Gardens.  Minister Ricky McGee to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 1:00pm until 2:00pm.

Pete was born on April 26, 1936 in Fayette Co., AL to the late Homer Colley and the late Dora Holt.  He attended schools in Fayette County, Alabama.  Pete attended White Chapel Church of Christ in Hubbertville and also previously attended Mt. Olive and Vernon Church of Christ.  He was a former employee of Columbus Butane and drove a school bus for Lamar County High School.  He enjoyed camping.
