Phil Johnson, age 62, of Gattman, MS, passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at the residence. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with graveside services and burial to follow in Shady Rest Cemetery in Gattman, MS.  Bro. Dwight Taylor, Bro. Russell Minga, and Bro. Thad Hawkins to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.

Phil was born on September 3, 1960 in Sulligent, AL to the late James Johnson and Mary Elizabeth Hollis Johnson.  He attended Sulligent Schools.  Phil worked most of his life as a truck driver.  He enjoyed spending time outdoors riding horses and going fishing.  Phil loved his family and cherished any time he spent with them especially getting to make memories with his grandchildren.  He was a member of Living Waters Church in Gattman, MS.
