Rachel D. Coleman, age 72, of Vernon, AL passed away Friday, October 22, 2021 at DCH-Regional Medical Center, Tuscaloosa, AL. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Furnace Hill Cemetery.  Reverend Donny Smith to officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 1:00pm until 2:00pm.

Rachel was born on November 30, 1948 in Vernon, AL to the late Thurmay Dobbins and the late Mae Ola Salters.  She was a graduate of Todd High School.  Rachel previously worked at Vernon Manufacturing and Gattman Sportswear.  She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and collecting antiques.  Rachel was a member of Shiloh Methodist CME.
