Racine Edwards Goode, age 85, of Sulligent, AL, passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2026 at Glenwood Center in Florence, AL.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2026 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with graveside services burial to follow in Brown Cemetery.  Bro. Robert Earl Johnson to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 1:00pm until 2:00pm.

Racine was born on December 22, 1940 in Gary, Indiana to the late Otis Edwards and the late Augusta Adams.  She attended schools in Gary, IN.  Racine previously worked at McCoy Manufacturing.  She enjoyed crocheting, drawing, and working word puzzles.  She also liked listening to Al Green and was known to love watching horror movies.  She had a beautiful spirit full of life and she treasured all the moments spent with her loving family which she adored.  Her precious memory will forever be in their hearts.  Racine was a member of Powell Chapel CME and later a member of Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church.
