Mrs. Rayleen I. Pennington, age 57, of Vernon, passed away Friday, June 19, 2020 at Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham, AL. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at 11:00am from Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Huntsville Memory Gardens. Pastor Johnnie Dover to officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 10:00am until 11:00am.

Rayleen was born on November 18, 1962 in Livingston, AL to the late Elijah Ivory, Sr. and the late Mattie Stell Adams.  She was a graduate of Livingston High School in Livingston, AL.  Rayleen worked in the lunchroom at Lamar County Elementary School.  She loved baking, cooking, shopping, reading her Bible, helping people and spending time with her grandchildren.
