Roberta Lea Cowart, age 71, of Sulligent, AL, passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with graveside services and burial to follow in Wofford Cemetery.  Bro. Bryce Hankins to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 1:00pm until 2:00pm.

Roberta was born on June 11, 1953 in Oklahoma City, OK to the late Robert Lee Hankins and Edith Jackson Hankins.  She was a 1971 graduate of Banks High School in Birmingham, AL.  Roberta previously worked for the U.S. Government, managed a hotel, and worked at SiTel in Hamilton, AL.  She was a member of DAR. She enjoyed sewing, cross-stitching pictures, family genealogy and planning family reunions.  Roberta was also known to be an avid Auburn fan.  She was a member of Central Church in Memphis, TN.  Her loving spirit will always be cherished and greatly missed.
