Rodney Hollis, age 52, of Detroit, AL passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at UAB in Birmingham, AL.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 19, 2021 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with Military Honors Graveside services and burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery.  Rev. Tony Crump to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 12:30pm until 2:00pm.

Rodney was born on November 26, 1968 in Winfield, AL to the late Ernest Lee Wallace and Lessie Nell Hollis.  He was a graduate of Marion County High School where he played football and ran track.  Rodney served in U.S. Army.  He was employed with 3M in Guin, AL.  He enjoyed electronics, fishing and fast cars.
