Ronald B. Hawkins, age 77, of Sulligent, AL, passed away on Friday, December 8, 2023 at Sanctuary Hospice in Tupelo, MS.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at 3:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Liberty Cemetery in Detroit, AL.  Bro. Tim Harris to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 2:00pm until 3:00pm.

Ronald was born on January 14, 1946 in Lamar County, AL to the late Benford Hawkins and the late Daisy Mae Johnson Hawkins.  He attended Detroit and Sulligent Schools.  Ronald previously worked at NTN in Hamilton, AL.  He loved the outdoors and enjoyed working in his yard and also liked old cars.  Ronald was a member of Liberty Missionary Baptist Church.  His loving memory will always be cherished.
