Ronnie Dale Black, age 70, of Sulligent, AL, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 1:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Gilmer Addition of the Sulligent City Cemetery, Bro. Edward Puckett officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:00pm until service time at 1:00pm.

Ronnie was born on September 15, 1955, in Sulligent, AL to the late Levoid Black and the late Betty Jo Frye Black. He was 1973 graduate of Sulligent High School. Ronnie worked for and retired from Hyster after 48 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and loved his dogs and horses. Ronnie was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA). He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
