Ruth Cowart Parker, age 96, of Sulligent, AL (Molloy Community) passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021 at Fayette Medical Center in Fayette, AL.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at 1:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Lampkin Cemetery in Vernon, AL.  Bro. Max Bobitt and Brian Clark to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 12:00pm until 1:00pm.

Ruth was born on July 13, 1924 in Lamar County, AL to the late Burris Cowart and the late Lillian Moore.  She attended Molloy School.  Ruth previously worked at Vernon Manufacturing.  She enjoyed gardening and growing flowers.
