Sandra Lynn Franklin Black, age 66, of Sulligent, AL, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2025 at her residence.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025 at 1:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Gilmer Addition of Sulligent City Cemetery.  Bro. Edward Puckett to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 12:00pm until 1:00pm.

Sandra was born on June 26, 1959 in Vernon, AL to the late J.T. Franklin and Ann Morgan Franklin.  She was a 1977 graduate of Sulligent High School.  Sandra previously worked at Health-Tex, Home Health, and for Mental Health Group Homes.  She was a very compassionate person and truly had a loving heart for people.  Sandra enjoyed spending time reading and cooking, especially for her family which she adored.  She also loved her little dog dearly.  Sandra was a member of Sulligent Methodist Church.  Her bright spirit and generous heart will always be cherished.
