Scott Spangler, age 65, of Hamilton, AL passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Brookwood Medical Center, Birmingham, AL. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 4:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Thad Hawkins to officiate. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 3:00pm until 4:00pm.

Scott was born on July 21, 1957 in Hobart, Indiana to the late Lauren William Spangler and the late Betty Joan Holeman. Scott served in the Navy as a nuclear engineer. He also attended the University of Arkansas. He loved music and reading as well as spending time with his family and dog.

Brother: Michael Spangler , Arkansas

Sister: Sandy Spangler Hartman (Ray), Arkansas
